Cabriofix Reviews
Here are some independent maxi cosi car seat reviews on the Cabriofix:
Great item, been using this for coming up to 6 months now. Very easy to use with Isofix base, great with Quinny Zapp and Maxi Cosi Muri. Light to carry (without baby!) easily adjustable straps. Only criticisms are that the handle could do with some sort of neoprene grip to give a better hold and when the cover accidentally detaches, it's very fiddly to get back on... Minor points though.
We bought the Cabriofix car seat as it had the highest recommendation from 'Which?'. It has worked very well - it's easy to fit with the base (purchased separately) and my baby seems very comfortable in it. It comes with an integral sunshade and the covers are removable for washing. Not alot else to say - it does what it is meant to!
We used a Maxi Cosi Cabrio Fix for our first child and we didn't hesitate to buy one for our second. It's easy peasy to install in the car using the seatbelt and we also attach it to the Quinny Zapp pushchair frame for popping into shops etc to save disturbing the baby. An absolute must-have and it looks fab too.
Tobi reviews
Here are some Maxi Cosi Car Seat reviews on the Maxi Cosi Tobi Car Seat:
The Maxi Cosi Tobi is a great car seat. we already have one for our older daughter who loves it. always seems comfortable. the easy out harness system is good for any independent minded toddler who wants to get themselves in and out of the car seat, all you have to do is buckle them up. very safe and secure. would recommend.
My daughter is nearly 13 months and had just about outgrown her Cabrio car seat. She loves the Tobi and is really enjoying sitting facing forward, no grumpy car journeys so far! For us, it is so easy to install and feels very secure. Very happy with this seat.
I chose this seat as it had the best safety rating plus I had the maxi-cosi baby seat. It is one of the most expensive but I always believe in buying the best I can afford plus it's for the comfort and safety of my child.
It's comfortable (she took to it like a duck to water) -You can use it in the front or the back (although back is always recommended). The shoulder straps are spring loaded so they pop up from the shoulders and out from the waist when you de-press the safety button. And.. because you strap the chair in with the base once it's in the car there is no more seatbelt action required. It also comes in a great range of colours.
The only downside is it's size and weight but I felt the pro's were too good to miss out plus I don't intend to keep moving the chair from car to car. I bought a £40 seat for 'other' cars which is light weight but this would only be for local journeys.
At almost 9 months our baby was ready to start in a proper car seat but being a first child we had no idea what to look for. The Which Guide gave us a few pointers and also recommended the Tobi, although friends recommended several other makes. Having visited our local baby store and tried several seats out, we chose the Tobi because it appeared easy to fit and adjust and to be very comfortable.
Neither my wife or I are particularly technically minded but we fitted it at first attempt and have had no problems in adjusting the harness or head rest to fit our baby. In fact it was so comfortable that she fell asleep within minutes of being first strapped in.
Axiss Reviews
I can't rate the Axiss car seat enough. It raises & rotates so you don't have to do any bending or twisting. When it's raised the baby can see quite nicely out of the window too.It retails in the shops at £210 so £170 is a bargain. I did lots of research and couldn't find Maxi Cosi Axiss any cheaper than this, although Bebe Confort (from same company) has an older version out on the market which I've seen for £160, but it's still £210 in shops.
Getting my 8 month old into his buggy/carseat is a real challenge, as he's quite a wriggly baby, but I don't have this problem anymore with this carseat. I found it a little tricky to set up in the car, but I am pretty useless with things like this so someone else might find it easier! The seat is suitable up until the age of 4, so it's definately one of my better buys!
this seat is easy to install using the cars 3 point seat belt, the seat has a rachet to make the seat nice and tight, this seat has a adjustable headrest witch moves the harness with it, the seat turns to the door to aid putting the child in and out of the car, it comes with 8 positions of recline and side impact protection,
The Maxi Cosi Axiss Car Seat is a very good design no more struggling getting them in and out of the seat, brilliant if they fall asleep and I so happy I order it, its was a bit more expensive then other car seats but it's worth every penny
Priori XP Reviews
One word describes this product - excellent. We spent hours deliberating about Group 1 and settled on the Maxi Cosi Priori XP. It is easy to fit if you take 15 minutes and read the instructions. VERY very secure. I feel that my daughter is totally comfortable and safe in this seat. The black reflection design is great too. We had the Maxi Cosi Cabrio fit for her first seat and I didn't particularly like that seat so I am doubly impressed with the Priori XP. It sits my daughter high so she has good visibility and she looks really secure and comfy. The shoulder straps are very tightly fitted and easily adjusted - far far better than the Cabrio. Please do not judge the Priori XP by the Cabrio. They are two very different products.
We bought the Priori XP because we will be doing a lot of long journeying and I know my daughter will be very happy in it. It has recline positions that are very easy to adjust and a special clamping feature which makes the seat extra secure (this is unique to the Priori XP).
We drive a Vauxhall Vectra Design and the seat fits perfectly although we had to raise the head rest on the back seat to its maximum position in order to get the car seat in place.
Five stars!!
Just bought car seat for 8 month old who can sit without help and reached the 9kg mark. Couldnt wait to get him in the seat as he was trying to sit up and getting irritated in baby car seat. I have only been using the seat for a few days but found very easy to install and so far very comfortable for baby. He is so much happier that he can now see out the window and looks very comfy while asleep.I didnt order the head support and it is ok without it but I will be buying it for longer journeys. I researched all car seats and was going to buy maxi cosi tobi but realised it was too high (Bmw X3) and almost bumped babys head a few times whilst trying out a friends seat so decided to opt for maxi cosi xp instead. very happy so far!
REALLY BRILLIANT!!!! SO EASY TO INSTALL AND NOT TOO BULKY TO PUT IN THE BACK SEAT OF A 3 DOOR CIVIC.MY 9 MONTH OLD ALSO LOOKS REALLY COMFORTABLE WHEN EITHER ASLEEP OR GIGGLING AT MY DRIVING.CLEANING IS ALSO NO PROBS THE COVERS ARE SO EASY TO REMOVE. BEING A FIRST TIME PARENT I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO IS HAVING THE MIND BOGGOLING TASK OF KEEPING THEIR CHILD SAFE.
